Throughout 2026, Via Lactea will be working on the "Fanfar'Trimard" project. This micro-project was approved under Interreg.
Fanfar'Trimard aims to explore the importance of music and popular culture in migration. We will use the old railway line 85, which connected Avelgem to Roubaix, as a metaphor to bring the "forgotten migration" of thousands of Belgian textile workers to northern France back into focus.
