Of singer Mohamed Diaby and guitarist Adboulaye Traoré's meeting was born Debademba, which means 'big family' in bambara (Mali's national language). The duo surrounds themselves with other Parisian African musicians to play a modern and lively music which mixes traditional influences with afrobeat, highlife, and even a bit of rock and blues. The band had a successful start with their first album in 2011. Two years later, they are back with its follow up 'Souleymane' (2013)
